Quote from: animal on Sep 07, 2024, 03:09 PMI've never seen a QB throw for nearly 400 yards or whatever and look so inaccurate doing it for much of the game. There were passes there that he just flat out under threw. Also a good many times where he just held the ball and never looked off his primary read. Early in the game he had running lanes and they were rolling him out and he was really good throwing on the run.

The mental mistakes and the special teams errors lost this game or in other words...same song different dance.

For the frustrating second half offense, we did set up those classic BMFP-type plays with WRs running open.  Either the blockers couldn't give him time, he never saw them, or he missed them.  He made good throws in the second half but not enough to overcome the bad ones.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

Before we ran the play I said to my son that we better not try to run it up the middle. What the fuck was that call

I can't wait to see how many fans show up.

This game might've decided if we go bowling or not. We're not winning at Auburn or Missouri. Mississippi State is a toss up. Two more cupcakes gets us to three, maybe four wins.  We're not beating Tennessee at home, Texas at home, and probably not Ole Miss at home. I might've called Texas A&M and LSU toss ups had we won today, but now?

We're looking at being a team that's "a lot better than last year" while still being a 4 (maybe even a 3) win team, and that's without Alabama on the schedule.

Just terrible.

Quote from: Feral on Sep 07, 2024, 03:12 PMHow many of these games have we seen where we have the other team on the ropes and we shit all over ourselves in the 2nd half to lose in the dumbest fashion possible?

It's been a mainstay of the Bielema and Pittman eras, which are eerily similar.

Yeah, it's uncanny how we insist on proving it infinitely.

I'd dare any fan base to come anywhere close to the number of data points we have.

648 yds offense, 416 passing, 232 rushing. Those numbers should win a game. I really believe mistakes will be cleaned up.

That is what was bad. Wide open receivers, and either Green never looked at them, or threw it incomplete. Bobby had the right call, but Green fucked it up.
Well, shit...

That's what you get with an "Aw shucks boys, you're doing so good" kind of halftime speech.  They come back out flat, then get tight, and then it all blows up.

If Petrino was the HC and they were too scared of him to fuck up and too mean to get scared about the other team or the moment, we win by two TDs.

312 EC minimum, and I am thinking he may take the popular vote.

We went toe to toe with the #16 team in the country who returned 20 starters. Stupid miatakes beat us. Not play calling. Not effort. Not coaching.

I'm a glass half full. We will win some games.

After what we saw today, there is no way anyone can say that Arkansas isn't beating Auburn or Missouri.

We should have won today.  We played well.  We certainly have the talent and coaching to beat a lot of the SEC teams in the schedule.

If OSU is anywhere close to #16 by the end of the season, I'll eat my hat.

They were not good today.

Well coached teams tend to not make stupid mistakes.

we aren't beating Auburn or Missouri, but maybe we'll look better on the stat sheet after the game. We'll lose by 7 but have more rushing yards. Something like that.

While the other team had 385, 326, 59. They had one harmless turnover. We had three very costly.

There is no empirical evidence that we will clean up our mistakes. It's what we do under Titboss.

What are you basing this position on?   That's a pretty definitive position to take with no real evidence to support it.
