According to D1Baseball, the SEC holds 4 of the top 5 teams and 6 of the top 10.  Gonna be a tough year.

Could be a year where a team could go 15-15 or thereabouts in league play and still be a viable contender in Omaha.

Hogs are at #16 Vandy, #8 Georgia, #10 Florida, and #3 LSU.

They get #1 Aggy, #19 texass, and #4 Tennessee at home

@Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Missouri are the other three SEC opponents.

I almost think we'd be better off not hosting, or hosting a regional but traveling for the supers. 

The last time we made it to Omaha without going on the road was 2019.  We've shat the bed at home three times since then.

There's not anything wrong with early success as long as you are hot for 3-4 weeks to end the postseason.

I looked at the schedule earlier.

My take:

43-13 (18-12 SEC).

Host a regional, travel for Super, go to Omaha. After that, who knows.

I'd be good with that.

I hope DVH gets over the hump and wins a title one day. More for him than than anything else.

As a fan I can't ask for anything more than what he's done. Baseball is just one of those games where so much is outside of anyone's control. He has us in position to win more that just about any coach out there.

He deserves a title before he's done.
