In the Rocket Mortgage tourney just now, one of the co-leaders drilled a 97 yard tee shot right into the trees. 97 yards.....

Yeah, any of us could do that but maybe not the follow up, smoke a drawing 5-wood around that tree 250 yards near the green, then a simple pitch and putt for par.

True. I have just never seen a pro drill a shit off the tee that straight into the trees. It looked like one of my tee shots.

I saw Jesper Parnivek miss a homicide charge by about six inches during a practice round in Tulsa.  It was 18 at Southern Hills and the spectators were lined up about 75 yards on either side out from the tee box.  He hit a duck hook that took and incredibly hard turn at head height at 75 yards and six inches and just missed some dude. 

And yeah, he still parred the hole. lol

Yes he did. I got a little nervous for him when he left that 34 ft. birdie putt for the win a little too short. That's where the choke began. I agree with TRS though, I think he's going to be a star. He's only 21. And he's got a look about him at 6'1", 130lbs.
