It was as 104 in Paris the other day.  Uh...it was 105 on Saturday and 103 on Sunday in Berlin.  For perspective Berlin is as far or farther north than some of the Aleutian Islands and Northern Canada.  And those temps followed a week in the 90s. 

That's pretty hot anywhere not named Phoenix or Doha.  And would be pure hell in a place where air conditioning is generally unneeded and unavailable.

And a few years ago Arkansas and Texas had unusual cold for a week or two and you would have thought the world was ending and a lot of people died.  Meanwhile, people in Minnesota wondered what the big deal was.

The suffering for that brief period of heat was real.  Where they lost me was when they assumed it was due to global warming and naturally laid the blame at our feet.

It snowed in Yellowstone this week.

Weird June around here.  Seems very cool.  But looked it up and we finished with 14 days of 95 or above.  Average high is 92 or thereabouts so that would indicate a somewhat hot June.  On the other hand, there were a bunch of days where we didn't make it out of the 80s and some 70s days.

Unfortunately I am currently buying 2.  Condesenser and furnace for both, 4ton and 3ton - a cool $19,600 which doesn't seem that bad.  First guy quoted $30k, I laughed him out of the house. One guy was $17k but I have a good relationship with the $19k guy.  The 3 ton compressor took a shit on me and might as well replace both at the same time.

What's funny and cool is the guy I'm going with texts me everyday asking how we are doing.  We live at a baseball field every weekend and the kids have been staying downstairs.  We'll live.

I took Beartooth out of Yellowstone (212) in August several years ago on my scooter heading for Red Lodge, Mt and ran into snow at the pass but the pass is almost 11,000 ft ASL.
