As recently as five years ago, it was a virtual lock we'd scratch at least one run with the bases loaded and fewer than two outs.

I yield to few in my love for DVH, but he definitely seems like he hasn't had a good feel for much this year.

His lineup moves, pitching rotation decisions, and situational moves have been odd and questionable.

One example is PR'ing Turner for Stewart in the 7th, especially since he was the trail runner in a 1st and 2nd situation. You take a power bat out of the lineup, and he would have come back up in the 9th.
