Jerry probably got a subscription to the Cheese of the Month club in return.

That right there is the gift that keeps on giving all year

Lots of similarities between Jerry and the architect of Build Back Better!

I guess trading your best player is just the thing to do in Dallas this year.

Good trade. Parsons was a no show vs good teams. He will have 20 sacks vs the Cowboys.

There's no real final roster until after the first game having to do with certain issues with certain veteran contracts.

All these folks whining in media about trading their "best player" are the same ones that thought trading Hershel Walker was hillbilly thinking.
Parsons is not a dominating player in a mode of Lawrence Taylor or Charles Haley, and he's certainly not worth $47 mil a year, and I didn't think he was worth the $40 mil Jerry was offering.  Dallas got 2 ones and a pro bowl player in a position of critical need.  I'm all for it.

Parsons nacho fest and nap Friday night at the game did him no favors.

I saw that...seemed like a damn solid trade...seems like akin to the Raiders sending that one dude to Chicago and he ended up being meh after that.

Jerry Jones: "Those draft picks could get us top Pro Bowl type players".

Sure Micah Parsons is a Pro Bowl type player, but these draft picks could be anything. They could even be Micah Parsons!"
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

I was half joking about him being the best player. He probably is on paper, but he does disappear in big moments. I don't blame Jerry for walking away. Probably the smartest move he's made in a while. Hopefully their received picks can be gainfully realized.

It did surprise me what the packers are gonna pay him. Holy cow that is a lot of cash and cap.  This is the same franchise that would not draft a WR for Aaron Rogers when he was in his prime. . Odd.

To be fair, we wouldn't draft him an offensive line either. The defensive picks improved that side of the ball all the way up to top-15 though.

I'm struggling how Parson's makes the Packers a superbowl contender. I guess it could happen...they'd have to have a really salty defense and their offense not be shit to have any shot at all. The Lions and Vikings for sure have better offenses. I'm not convinced they are even going to win their division.

The packers also blew up the league structure by making Micah the highest paid DE by $5 mil a year.  Thats stupid and irresponsible.

That Adarius Hayes story about the wreck was just awful.  A 78 year old woman and two 10 and 4 year old children dead.  Just awful...

Apparently NFL Redzone will not longer be commercial free. ESPN and Disney strike again.

Host Scott Hanson confirmed that the seven-hour show will feature commercials in some way when the 2025 season kicks off this weekend."

Dammit, I knew Disney would frick it up.
7 hours of commercial free football was the point and what we paid for.
Why would I want to pay for this ?

They're probably going to start charging us to have fantasy football leagues.

I bet everyone who was paying for Redzone will continue paying for it.

Rest assured that everything Disney touches goes to shit. They are like one of those mafia movies where they take over shit, bust it out, and burn it down.
