That's kind of my thought.  These kids are now professionals.  They'll go where they are paid, play a year or two, and graduate or leave. 

Let BP coach and game plan like only he can.  Let the general manager take care of personnel.

I think maybe we have to come full circle and hire BMFP as head coach to break the curse.

It was tears of joy but then someone had to remind us that we still have 4 weeks to go before we can get that discount on the buyout. There's zero chance this team wins another game this season under Sam Pittman.

No way they do it before he hits .500 imo, which the earliest that could happen is Oct 18th after A&M.

It was 2nd and 2 and Memphis still had two timeouts to stop the clock. Getting the first down there would have let us run the clock out before kicking the last FG.

I'm guessing instead of that he said something along the lines of "I don't know what you want me to say we just have to do a better job of holding on to the ball than we have these last couple of weeks."
