Agree. This game is 1 of 7. I do think you have to feel better coming out of this game though.

It's a close game, against #12 on the road in Knoxville, and I'm mad about a few things that I think could have made the difference between a win and a loss.

So... overall I'm happy with it.  The spread was tightening up as we got closer to the game, and we're still beating it with 2 minutes to go.

We played probably the best offensive team in the league tonight and held them about as well as anyone.  We scored some in the second half.


We fixed quite a few things in the two weeks.  We have a LOT more things to fix.  Conditioning will help a ton and that can be done to a certain extent with just more uptempo practices but it is hard to make up for no offseason.

Well, I watched the whole game. I 100% believe if Sam was the coach, it would have been a repeat of the ND game and I would have turned it off in the 3rd quarter. That's progress.
