To be honest, we beat ourselves as much as they beat us as odd as that sounds. 

Our D is still 10 ply.  But you're dead on.  The turnovers is what killed us.  We turned it over 4x and still played em to the end.  Lost by 3 on the road in Knoxville, with 4 turnovers.  I wouldn't have believed anyone if they told me those results in advance.

there was noticeable improvement, and i'm happy bp got them to show effort, but if it was all coaching, including the turnovers, two weeks ago (and it certainly wasn't), then tell me why it's different now.

That's where the talent comes into play.  Best case for these guys is to be in the right spot and tackle when they get the chance.  We did those two mostly but couldn't actually make plays.

I think the big thing is we don't appear to be strong or condiioned.  Fumbling on O, RB's dragging our guys for extra yards are the biggest indicators.  You can't fix that in 2 weeks or even in 6.  D scheme seemed better with fewer guys way out of position.  Don't turn the ball over and we win that game.

Losing sucks but there are levels of suckage in a loss.  Had Sam been on the sidelines they would have rolled over and would have likely lost 51-17.  So they hung in and fought back.  But Bobby has to figure out how to stop the stupid turnovers by these brainless players.  4 terrible turnovers, and none gained.  That rarely ends on a 3 point loss.  JFB would be eating their ass all the way to Fayettenam airport.  I would bench green and try another; his game awareness is total shit.

Bobby cleaned up the penalties and the defense in 2 weeks. The team held TN to its fewest points of the season. The team didn't quit when they got down by 17.

He will get the turnovers cleaned up. It's unrealistic to expect him to completely undo an entire offseason and almost half a season of Pittman stinch.

The fact that we could have won that game is
almost a coaching miracle.

He is still an elite coach and will win big again when he gets the job permanently.

Admit mistakes, says he will do better and you know for a fact that will eat him and and drive him to do better.  What a fucking change from "I didn't know what to do"

Oh, and he did figure shit out by the 4th qtr and we were tearing their shit up again.  Dude has pride and will work hard to fix his mistakes.
