I try to give thanks every day for my many blessings but I've never been a big Thanksgiving Day fan, probably because Thanksgiving was the one day a year my Dad would visit his parents and would drive my sister and me from Conway to have dry turkey, burnt dressing and green beans in a small mobile home beside a soybean field somewhere between Clarendon and Holly Grove.

I loved my grandparents but she was not an accomplished cook and he would utter maybe a dozen words if he was feeling particularly loquacious.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving my piggas!

my own personal hell are thanksgiving at anyone's home besides my mom/grandmother or Friendsgiving potlucks people wanna do where I have to eat some nasty shit other people think is decent with cat hairs in it

It doesn't take much chicken and dressing to be enough for me. We used to eat leftovers for a week only to do it all over again twenty days later by eating the same type food at Christmas. We eat steak at Christmas now.
