They had a really good QB (Hennigan) that started all of his 4 years. Impressive RS was able to keep him from getting poached by a bigger school.

I'll take a wait and see approach and like the guy based on the many interviews I've heard on sports talk over here. Not my 1st choice of course and not a splash hire but who knows.

Asst coach salary pool, his asst coach connections, and NIL will be the biggest factors in his success (as with any coach).

I'm more positive on this hire than most on here, but he could go a long way with our fans by hiring a good staff, starting with a stud DC. Land a guy like Durkin or Brent Pry and then everyone will fall in line.
