I don't know. That kind of game was not expected by me. I thought we were better than that. Auburn shot out of their minds and had tons of lucky bounces on rebounds and what not. It was an ass kicking by what I considered a pretty mediocre conference foe.

The most likely answer to that is a resounding NO. No matter the sport. Accept it. Live it. We are Arkansas!

Prior to last night I thought we were a legit top 5 team that is getting better every game. That we were already right there competing with top 5 teams, and maybe chunk up the losses to growing pains and chemistry developing, etc.

But I just can't explain or rationalize that performance. It's kind of like that Arkansas UMass game in 95. Which Calipari was coaching us to heartache in.

Just a fucking gut punch.

That '95 team took a number of ass beatings. The one to UMass in the opener, to Auburn and Mississippi State both on the road. Still won the SEC West, should've won the SECT and got a 2 seed and won more games than any team in college basketball that year.

Also, fuck George Zidek and Toby Bailey.
