Let me be clear. I am not petitioning for this, but theoretically, Ohio State should also be in that group of teams. They're a one loss team also, and their loss is against the now #1 team.

Bottom line...tomorrow is going to be chaos and I love it!

Hate it for Alabama but the home loss to Texas has to bite them in the ass. Florida State would get destroyed by most of the top ten.

It should be Texas instead of FSU, but leaving out an undefeated power 5 team just seems unlikely.

If that's the criteria, then Texas gets in over Bama and Georgia.

But Cornhogio has the most common sense Top 4. You can't put Bama in and not Texas, so Georgia gets in.

Of the one-loss teams (including OSU):

Team A lost on the road to their conference champ in week 11, missed conf champ game
Team B lost to #12 at neutral site in week 6 rivalry game, beat team C in week #2 away game, won conf champ game
Team C lost to team B at home in week #2, beat team D to win conf champ game (neutral site)
Team D lost to team C in their conf champ game (neutral site)

For teams A and D each only loss is to a top 7 team, but neither have have a top 7 win and both lost their last game, neither are conference champs

So for me, its down to B and C because they have the two best wins
B beat C head-to-head for its top 7 win but has the "worse" loss
C has best most recent quality win and no "bad" losses

I have C (Bama) edging out B (texass) by slimest of margins

I say, fuck'em all! Let undefeated Liberty have a shot!

The SEC is going to fuck hard next year with the addition of OU and Texas...plus an 8 team playoff. 4 teams in. OH and don't count them Hogs out.

But no really this time next season they'll be talking about Tulane and Liberty's glory seasons and they should totally be in the 8 team playoff.

Is it me or are there a lot of 10+ win teams this season? Makes me wonder if these schools/conferences are gaming the system to muddy the waters for the playoff picture.
