Interview with Tommy Tubberville on Clay & Buck today.  Some interesting insider tidbits.  He & Joe Manchin have authored an NIL bill to control the situation, but "it's not going anywhere as long as Sen. Schumer is here.  They want the college athletes to be unionized."

Tubberville said he talks to Nick Saban often, and the NIL situation was the main driver of his retirement.  It used to be you could have "discipline and rules" but now the athletes are in control.  All of their money has just made that explicit.

By the way Joe Manchin played high school football with Nick Saban.  They are good friends.

Former LSU and likely soon to be former Patriot receiver Kayshon Boutte busted for illegal gambling.  I'm surprised this isn't happening more often.  Isn't online sports gambling legal in Arkansas now?
