The thing that could have stopped NIL was the fucking Missouri dicksniffers doing anything other than letting Tyus Edney go the length of the court unimpeded in two seconds.  With even a semblance of third grade level or above defense on that play the 1995 UCLA team isn't on any all-time greats group on any video game or elsewhere.  O'Bannon wouldn't have seen his own likeness represented on the game, and he would have missed out on the $3.47 he got in class action payments and the fifteen minutes of fame that interrupted his time selling used cars for crack money.
