Isn't it amazing that the coaches who run fast paced offenses (Malazhan, Kiffen, Freeze ) are the very same ones who seem to have defensive players take a dive when they start to get boat raced?

Just looking for that rules edge i guess.

Since we've had some discussion of officiating, it's worth pointing out that today is the 15 year anniversary of the day Marc Curles blatantly stole an upset victory from the Hogs in Gainesville.

If you really want to relive the misery, start at the 11:00 minute mark and watch them call an indefensible PI on a play where Ramon Broadway had nearly perfect coverage and if anything was interfered with himself trying to make a play on the ball.  Immediately after is when Curles took it upon himself to deliver the game to UF with what is possibly the worst personal foul call in the history of sports. 

I'll let others judge if it was incompetence or corruption.  Either way the result was the same, and the officials undoubtedly changed the result of the game.

That was even worse than I'd remembered. Even Danielson was losing his shit on half the flags thrown on us.

The play clock is either 40 or 25 seconds depending on the situation.

Put them on the opposite team, with the exact same stats, profile, and team record, and a Florida Gator named McFadden easily outdistances Hog QB Tebow.

There was a bad call that he was involved in when we lost to LSU in Pittman's first year as well.  I think it was a fumble we recovered that he called down.

DMac had a better year statistically the second year and FUCK STEVE SPURRIER for completely leaving him off his ballot. He only ran for 321 (tied the SEC rushing record), a rushing TD and threw for a 23 yd TD against Spurrier's team that season. Only 219 rushing with 2 TDs the season before.  He had 540 yards rushing with 3 TDs rushing and 1 throwing the prior two years against Spurrier's team.
I guess Steve didn't think DMac was one of the top 3 players in the nation.

I don't believe there was ever a rule about any specific class, except when freshman couldn't play on varsity.
