Luke Fickel seemed like a home run hire but so far it has not worked at Wisconsin.

One thing that makes the ranking harder is with the mega conference and no divisions there is no balanced schedule and it just becomes the luck of the draw.

The AAC is trash yet that is who Notre Dame has beaten and they have the worst loss of any playoff team yet they are a lock while SMU which played a harder schedule and has more top 25 wins has to win the ACC championship to get in. Makes no sense but it is a tv show.

I assume Williams is the outside guy so he is covering the TE.  I didn't look closely, but if the TE (assuming that is the guy closest to the QB) didn't go downfield, it should have been perfectly legal.  The guy at the end of the line (well, not really since the least person on the LOS is at the end of the line and an eligible receiver, I mean closest to the tackle)  isn't an eligible receiver so he can't go downfield like one since the receiver is covering him up. 

At least that is how I remember it.

Watched it again.  The TE next to the tackle stays in to block so the play was 100% legal and the refs fucking blew it.  Disgraceful.

Probably costs what, $20k a trip for Pitt to fly back and forth to Hot Springs on Fletcher's jet?  That much money over a year would be enough to get a difference maker or two.  Instead of passively aggressively insulting the fans, he should stay in Fayetteville or maybe drive down and ask Fletcher to spend that money on NIL instead of flying his fat ass down to Hot Springs.

I thought Fickell was a tremendous hire by Wisky but they've been a total afterthought since he's been there.

The glaring question with Fickell is whether Dez Ridder made his career and he's a mediocre coach without him.
