If it stays at 4 or 5 power conferences then I say we move to the one where we can get 10 wins a year and have a legit shot of making the playoffs. 

The SEC clearly hasn't been a net benefit for the athletics department.   We still don't have enough money to compete apparently.  What's the point of staying?

With 12 teams, you don't need ten wins.  Eight could put you in it in lots of years.  We can do that.  No reason we shouldn't be where South Carolina is right now.

Arkansas is a better fit in the Big 12 but we would still manage to get smoked by a lot of these teams with less revenue sharing so there's that. Also this is where I mention that the revenue from the SEC and marketing packages helps fund other programs on campus like our women's basketball program.

It's funny... not long ago his name was mentioned when he was at Auburn and you couldn't find 1 person that wanted him.

Lashlee has proven himself as a head coach since Auburn last hired someone. 

I think it's pretty much guaranteed we would get more NIL support with Lashlee than with Pittman.

The answer isn't leaving as this crew would play down to its competition.  You really want to be playing West Virginia and Kansas? Fuck that shit.

The answer is simple.  Hire a new AD who understands the new realities of college sports. Who then hires a coach who knows how to win, recruit in all phases, and electrifies the state.  Who also is able to unlock the big money in the state pro support NIL properly.  And who knows the competitive landscape in staffing and supoort that delivers winning teams.  If Laine can do it at Ole Miss it can be done here.  Otherwise just keep if football into an intramural club sport.

As we keep adding teams, it shrinks our recruiting base. We won't be able to get many from Texass or Okie now. We may have to start looking at players from other conferences that want to play in the SEC.

There's only a handful of teams that might get an invite, if any.  Let's say the sec and Big10 stay static. The new league will have the biggest potential TV deals, most nil rev share, and most prestigious championship.  Players will want to be there rather that the temu level conference schools. 

It will change recruiting for all schools in the superconference.  I think we'll see changes in how nil works as well as I expect them to allow agents and multiyear contracts.

Arkansas needs to expand or add a GM and staff, add scouting, add social media talent, add s/c, and game analytics.  On top of expanded nil. 

The days of a TE coach driving all my over East Texas is over as your primary vehicle.  And you can't build a team strictly on HS recruits anymore even if you're Alabama.

Go big forward a top hs player will want to go to the SC.  Players who don't rate will go to the remnants to make film in hopes of portaling to the SC after sophomore seasons.  You have to retain your homegrown stars and keep them from leaving.  And you have to live in the portal for signing players that slide into it.  Sam don't understand any of that.
