I don't understand why the NCAA doesn't enforce a one time transfer rule. Transfer twice? You have to sit out a year. No waivers.

Yep. I didn't know there were spring games today until SEC Now was talking about them this morning. I'm not sure why they play them anymore when there's another portal window afterward. Let me know who takes the field on Labor Day weekend...or maybe don't.

The guys footing the ball aren't idiots. They are business men who expect a return on their investment. Right now it seems like the "cool" thing to do but it won't last long if the results don't happen. There's only 1 champion each year. That leaves a lot of failures. It's gonna be interesting to see where amateur sports are the next 5-10 years.

lol, true. but i was being a little facetious. if you step back and see what actually happened:

the kid was a prima donna doosh who got himself kicked off the team, is an object of ridicule and derision nationwide, and probably a little radioactive right now. and i'd bet wherever he ends up it won't be for anything near what he was asking, and will more than likely make some other players think twice about doing the same thing as long as other coaches show the backbone that huepel did.
