Coulda been. Speaking of good punt returners, oh for the days of Orlando Watters. I remember him taking one to the house against Tennessee,in Knoxville I believe, during that great win with Barry Lunney at the helm. I also remember being in the stands one time at War Memorial stadium when Madre Hill took a kickoff to the house. Sorry, I'm rambling now. I do believe having good return men in the kicking game is important though. Maybe Sategna can help us there.

Madre did return a kickoff against LSU in miserable rainy day against LSU at WMS. I'm such a glutton I sat there through that entire game, I think the last quarter by myself.

He took 2 to the house. Other than Joe Adams I don't know that we've got very many punt return or kick return guys with more than 1 house call. At least not in the last 20 ish years.

If the zebras let us win in Gumpland (leaving out poetential talent/depth disparities at key positions), there is no way they waste that by giving us the high hard one in Jortsville. And I think that's the only way they beat us because that is a dumpster fire that hasn't yet begun to burn out. St. Timmy Marc Curles ain't saving them this time.

I could definitely see that.

That 4 game stretch is brutal, but I also think 0-4 in that stretch would be a huge disappointment. 1-3 puts an 8-4 season squarely in play.

To your point, I think we likely steal at least one during that run but drop one we otherwise wouldn't or shouldn't in the rest of our SEC slate.

I'm still going with 7-5 or 6-6 given the question marks at OL, WR, and in the back seven. Also, everything hinges on injuries. We were relatively healthy in 2021, but that pendulum swung the other way last year.

Given how stacked our RB room is, it'll be interesting to see how much we're in 21 and 22 personnel in order to get multiple backs on the field.

Rocket is Rocket, Johnson was our best back in 2021, and Dubinion was a really good complement to Sanders last year. I could see different formations where we're in 2x with AJ Green motioning out.

You talked about how cohesive the staff was last year and when I said there were issues and coaches going behind his back you said I was full of crap. There were issues and it wasn't only from the strength coach.

Oline is my biggest concern on Off. WR to a degree but I think they will see a lot of 1-1 coverage.

I know a lot of people are worried about secondary too, but if our Dline is as good and deep as they say they are, that will help the secondary with pressure on the QB. 

Just from a recent press conference, Trajon Jeffcoat looks like a beast and has a voice deeper than Barry White.
