Shit, that was like the "count the Fs" exercise in that HR workshop a few years ago.  I was thinking it was something major, like last year's schedule or something.  I am going to overlook something like that every day.

With 8 a year you would have to halve the games with 4 teams.  With that I would rather split the games to see everybody once within each 4 years rather than home and homes back to back.

Yep.  Same.  Didn't even look at the words at all.  Saw the anouncement and immediately looked at the scheduling and paid litle to no atention to the speling.  Which is od for me because that's usualy something I see imediately.

Oh, ok, I thought everybody was going to have 3 permanent opponents.

Since that is the choice I think I would rather have the 9 game schedule and have the 3 yearly opponents.  Just make the nonconference weaker, although that will be hard for some to have weaker than what they already have.

Maybe if they go with 8 the opponents can be staggered across the years.
