Quote from: Jean Lafitte on Mar 15, 2023, 10:34 AMI mean, come on. Does ANY Hog fan hate LSU as much as they hate Texas and Tex AM?

I hate Texas A&M the most because of their delusional fan base that thinks they are going to win the national championship in every sport every year, and then act like they are national champions even when though they always don't win a NC.

Hate those cocksuckers!

For the record, I was not at the UA when we were in the SWC. A&M hatred from me has been since they joined the SEC. Can't stand those arrogant bastards.

It's not that I hate LSU more than TAMU, it is just that I would rather beat LSU than TAMU.

I think that might change as the years unfold, especially in football.

If anybody remembers Bill Pusch (RIP), let me know. We were buddies at Camp Robinson. I'll never forget him. Great Soldier.

You are exactly correct in your assessment of TAMU.

Quote from: Son of Spam on Mar 16, 2023, 11:00 AMI got to thinking, and figure Saban doesn't like his permanent opponents because everyone can cheat now. With NIL, there is no money under the table, per se. Sure players can still be bought, but now EVERYONE can buy them.

I know people like to bag on Alabama and Saban but he was a winner before going to Bama.  I don't subscribe to the cheating talk for Bama.  Plus, Saban is what, 79?   I'm pretty sure he doesn't care at this point.  But maybe he does.

Since the old Woopig is dead, can we erase the Liberty game from the record books?
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

He looks a little thin in the face.  He's not sick I hope.

I also hope he is just tired and not worn down looking at our team.

It's too early to be either tired or worn down. If he is either of those things right now then it's going to be a long season.

Despite my pledge to just not care any more, I can't stay away from hog sports. Lots of good articles on spring football out there. The portal has changed everything and both coordinators are gone. Things could be worse.

OL is gonna be key this year. Probably more than ever. Early indications don't sound good.

Our head coach is an old O-line coach.  I am willing to cut him some slack in a lot of areas for returning us from the dead, but that shouldn't be the case 4th year in.

Maybe, but I have always felt like LSU had much better physical talent than us-- and more than A&M-- so a win against LSU was more satisfying.  Also I am old enough to remember the old SWC days.  It wasn't always hard to beat A&M then.

Beating A&M when they were #2 at the end of the year in Little Rock was one of the best Hog performances ever, 31-6 I think, around 1975 give or take a year.

It was '75, I think in November.  I was there.  A cold front blew through and the temperature dropped about 30 degrees during the game.  Yes, I said during the game.  My brother and I ran out of the pint we brought in with us some time in the second quarter.  Luckily, a girl we knew from DeWitt was sitting behind us.  She had a quart in her purse.

Ahhhh yes.

The old "girl from Dewitt" routine.

I approve.👍
