Well, I'm afraid we have probably reached the point of entrenched bureaucracies with competing interests. 

I suspect the Foundation would fight these moves tooth and nail, unless maybe we transition the Foundation to running the NIL collective. 

But frankly, I don't think we have the leadership up there to get this done.  I think HY just wants to be a normal AD.  These sorts of decisions are above the pay grade of a normal AD and I think he is content with that.  He doesn't want to spearhead any of these efforts and he isn't and wouldn't be comfortable with being either the face of change or the power behind the scenes.  He just wants things to go back to the way they were six or eight years ago.

Hard to see how it will all work out.  Arkansas has never wanted to win as bad as the other SEC schools do and we've lacked vision and leadership since JFB was a hale and hearty 75 year old.  You don't get this kind of shit done by showing up for every women's gymnastics meet or soccer game.

I have been saying this for a long time. People in power are happy to have their ass kissed than kick ass. In the meantime, those who are passionate about winning become apathetic and called haters when we are not drinking the koolaid.
