For me, that's the most embarrassing loss we've ever had. Even worse than the Citadel. They not only kicked our ass at home but did it with our own QB.

Worse than North Texas?  I had a feeling going into the Western Kentucky game that they'd kick our ass.  Storey knew our offense and I knew our coaches would be too stupid to change anything about it.  With North Texas, I never considered that we might lose, and then there was the punt return...

WKU (2019): 45-19

Those are two great reasons why Chad will never be a head coach at the collegiate level again.

both wku and north texas went 9-4 the year they beat us. in normal circumstances, neither had any business beating arkansas, but arkansas had no business hiring chad morris.

you all seem to totally forget the loss to san jose state. they finished 5-7 and were 3-22 the two seasons before that. that game was possibly legit the worst loss in program history.

although the citadel was unforgivable at the time, they also beat a ranked army team that year, finished 11-2 losing to jim tressle's youngstown st. in the div II quarterfinals. and it wasn't like crowe was building some kind of juggernaut at the time.

Yeah but WKU took their foot off the pedal in the second half. They handed us our ass in the first half (35-7).

Plainly put, don't expect a penalty for 'Horns Down' unless it is targeted directly at a Texas player or accompanied by some other blatant form of disrespect. The Longhorns and their fandom will inevitably get salty no matter the context, but these taunts are generally in the spirit of competition and entertainment.

Worst loss.  Shootout.  I was there.  I was 11.  Cried most of the way home o LR.  That game caused my dad to start smoking again (5 packs Camels a day) and drinking.  Which killed him.  Fucking Jimmy Street.

Among the exceptions were the SMU QB that transferred to UA under Morris instead of staying at SMU and improving.
