In all my years watching the Hogs I've seen some dogshit secondaries, but Simeon Blair was unequivocally one of the absolute worst DBs we've ever trotted out.

It took Kansas a half to figure that out, and then they feasted like it was a free steak buffet.

As others have said, our secondary got exponentially better once he left.

United Airlines is offering two temporary nonstop flights for both the LSU game in September and the Alabama game in October.

The first route is from Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) to Baton Rouge on Sept. 23. The flight departs on Sept. 22 and returns on Sept. 24. The roundtrip tickets for this service were priced at $473 as of July 27, according to the United website.

The second nonstop offering by United is from XNA to Birmingham on Oct. 13. That flight back to Northwest Arkansas is scheduled for Oct. 15. Tickets were available for $511 as of July 27.

It's not new, Pittman had these sentiments publicly when he fired the guy.

I remember when, under Danny Ford, we had five O-linemen who all bench pressed over 500 lbs, Russ Brown out of Oklahoma, a kid out of Ft. Smith named Garrett something I believe, can't remember the names of the others, believe they were all seniors. I know we stunk under Ford for a lot of the time, but we had a pretty good team that year. I keep hoping to see another Hog team with all five O-linemen bench pressing over 500 lbs, but I don't think we've had one since. Ford used to say that everything starts with the O-line. I believe it, and it is one reason I was hopeful when we hired Pittman, but Pittman hasn't really had an O-line that was worth a shit since he's been here. Nutt was a former QB that couldn't coach up a QB to save his life. I hope Pittman doesn't suffer from the same irony.
