Look BP is operating with the same NIL restrictions as the rest.  Yet, he has taken a bunch of people nobody knows and turned them into a pretty solid offense.  I doubt anyone will argue against the notion that if the defense was coached as competently, we win that game the other night.

That would mean we would probably be 4-0 going into the ND game and it would be the biggest game on campus in years.  People would be excited about football.  Win that one and get to nine wins or better and people would be over the moon.  Do that a couple years in a row and giving would be through the roof by our standards.

I don't know why this is so hard to fucking understand.  Maximize what you have with excellent coaching.  Use that to build on for more.  Improve as you go and NIL will come with it.

Arkansas is like the lazy jackass who says I can't start a major business without big investors and sits in his ass wondering why no one is knocking on his door. Meanwhile his competitors are working their asses off in hopes of building successful businesses that will eventually attract big investors.

Exactly how Dave Van Horn built our baseball program from an also ran to one that doesn't disappoint us until a national championship is imminent.

All that's well and good, but if you want people to donate enough to have a competitive NIL you have to give them reason to believe it's a worthwhile investment. 

Money is the honey, but you have to have a coach who projects the confidence and leadership needed to win a championship.  Yuri has to eliminate ate the major impediment to recruiting...Sam fucking Pittman.  He has got to go.

In every competently run organization in the world lack of resources, money, or personnel is a discussion for leadership behind closed doors.  To the world and the foot soldiers the official line is that we have enough resources to do the job and we will not be making excuses.  If you want to help us be even better, give us more and we will do even greater things.

But Arkansas football leadership just poor mouths and poor mouths.  We've had one coach who didn't make excuses in the last twenty years.  Coincidentally, he was the most successful one we've had.  Magically, even though the recruiting rankings said we sucked, his teams managed to look bigger, faster, and smarter than any I've seen at Fayetteville.

Someone said Cam Ball is getting 7 figures. I have a hard time believing it's true, but how is he worth that? He has hardly made any plays in 5 years and would get no run at a decent SEC school. Part of me wishes the college sports model would implode. NIL was meant for the McFadden's.

or, i mentioned him a while back, there's a guy with a national title (more recent than our bball coach) who says he wants back in, sure as hell doesn't need another paycheck, and has hired bobby petrino once already.

the response from a  lot of the fanbase would probably be the same as they had when cal was hired.

btw, i'm not necessarily advocating for the guy, and he would not be my first choice, but to me it just has the feel of something the university would sell as a splash hire. a guy who does it right, lol.

It's really stupid to worry about cheating when there are effectively no rules anymore.  If they let you foul in a basketball game, you're stupid if you refuse to hand check because it's against the rules.
