I think they are hoping it becomes as relevant as Mizzou vs KU or Illinois vs Mizzou...they actually care about those games. They don't care about Arkansas anymore than we care about them. 

Also agree with the above that Texas is not nearly as good a rivalry as Ole Miss in the current day but give it another 10 years and it'll be fully heated up by then.

My wish list, posted last page or so in this thread was LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas.

I was 2 out of 3, and that ain't bad. Or so Meatloaf says. But deep down inside somewhere I don't like, that is too smart for my own good, I knew we'd get Missouri because of the fake rivalry thing. At least we got my top two choices.

because they have no one else to pair Missouri with for a "rivalry" and someone actually sold Shelter insurance on this "rivalry"to the point they are sponsoring it (- is the SEC getting a cut of that action?) their ads play every other break on the Arkansas radio broadcasts, can you say overkill?

We ran this setup a lot in two minute. We always looked for DJ on the out first play. tOSU defensive coaches really schooled us on that zone blitz with Heyward they knew it was coming.

I'm surprised he hasn't been out in the public lobbying to get our annual game with Texas played in the old Cotton Bowl, Jerryworld, or Austin.
