Yup.  I'm amongst that number.  Not that they were great seats or anything.  I let my friends and family still there basically have and use them every year since it is difficult to get back there for a game.  When the UofA called for me to donate, I declined.

Too many swinging dicks want to be in charge

Much of the opposition to the measure was based on trustees not receiving copies of the measure until 8 a.m. the day of the meeting and neither Robinson nor Yurachek having seen it. Other trustees asserted that the measures proposed in the resolution had been discussed before.

If Kevin Crass voted against it, and he apparently did, I have severe reservations about this whole thing.
Apparently retarded member of the "fucking old people" crowd as defined by Swahili Steve.

Yeah, I agree with that.

When they did this when Petrino was coach I upped my seats...

When I called a really nice ex volleyball player worked at the Foundation and ran up to see if my new seats were blocked from seeing the Jumbotron by the overhang before I committed

Her name was Jessica Dorrell

You have to pass it to see what is in it. SOP.

Not football but close enough. An email from the UofA this morning.

The University of Arkansas today announced a strategic partnership with Oak View Group, the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, to secure live event bookings at the 76,000-seat Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and the 19,000-seat Bud Walton Arena. As part of the new partnership, Oak View Group will work closely with Live Nation Arenas to help secure concert bookings.

Wally Hall's column this morning was blistering-- by his standards.  He poured fire on Yurachek.

Just in time to blend in, too late to stand out.  Should have been calling Zach Bryan three years ago before the stadium shows became so mainstream.  Strait sold out Kyle Field 2 years ago.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

'member that time about 10 years ago when Strait played his "last show" at the Astrodome (or whatever the fuck it is now) in Houston and charged like $1,500 a seat?

Yeah...good times

I guess he stuck his head out of his hole and saw it was safe to criticize him. The "Arkansas Sports Media" does what it does best.

So, the chancellor and HY had no idea this was coming and this was a direct shot at the chancellor who said athletics didn't need more funding?

It seems that some people on the BOT are indeed wanting to get "serious" about football whether the chancellor and AD want it or not.

Hunter knew it was coming.

He doesn't do his job well (fundraiser) so his BOT backers came up with this plan which he knew about.

This is the plan he was charged to come up with at the BOT meeting before the ND beat down, only he never told the chancellor, who was blindsided (likely on purpose because the two do not get along).

Now they have hired another 3rd party to do something to generate events that could make money - oak view group.

Football had a window but the powers that be hired Chad Morris and so much for that, chancellor whips and chains hired an AD who it turns out  can't raise money, misspeaks at the LRTD club, launches numerous NIL attempts and rebrands, can't sell stadium naming rights, and the list goes on and on. But man, he can tweet good luck to teams on game day!

We were lucky John Tyson got us Cal or the AD who couldn't get a basketball coach to leave Ole Miss for Arkansas lands who?

There is no vision or plan that has been shared other than pass out invoices to everyone (including raising ticket prices, donation levels, and create more premium seating).

We have been passed by Vanderbilt and Missouri in football under this AD, in fact we are DFL in the SEC. 3 WINLESS SEC seasons - arguably the worst 8 years of Arkansas Football ever,

Oh, but we're serious now because it has been money and not the leadership of the AD that has held the football program back the past 8 years.

 EIGHT YEARS OF DATA POINTS!

That's a solid 9/10 rant. Nice work.

So Hunter just needs another raise and extension is what I'm hearing.
Things of that nature

The Whyte Boar

Well, then this seems like the BOT setting Hunter up a bit. If he comes back with a plan they don't think is gonna work, they have an excuse to fire him, other  than, "He just sucks".

It's never a good thing when someone has been on a job for a decade and the boss comes in with goals for them to meet.

We are 27-87 in SEC play since 2012. Least amount of conference wins in that span. Even Vanderbilt has more than us.
