This is about the dumbest "consultant" analysis I have ever heard.

What's more important for W/L, expenses or turnover margin? Expenses or third down defense, getting off the field? Expenses or rushing yardage? EXPENSES?

As to the other emerging topic, if I could snap my fingers and we're in the Big 12, I would. I could give a rat's ass about "competing with the big boys," we're clearly not doing that based on 30+ years track record and I am tired of losing.

It's already been said that we are not a "win at all costs" program. I think they meant every word of that in any form you want to take it. Meanwhile they are literally going to tell everyone to pay up bitch. 

I can't say I blame them from a expense position, but on the same token it's kind of sending the kinds of messages that make us look like the cheap skates loser(ish) program that were appear to be on the national level. That entire thing with Pittman in a "prove it" kind of deal played real well for about 15 minutes and exactly nobody else got that kind of deal. 

Dugger Kid Number 17 saying that our coach is a "good coach" in the wrong situation...well no shit Sherlock. Any coach that couldn't carry that kind of Cal clout with him into the building was going to struggle with this program. The list of coaches who could have came here and pimped this shit out in a 4 to 6 months was very very small...maybe Urban Meyer.

I saw where someone said there's talk of serious consideration of a move to the Big 12 and maybe this is meant to ratchet up support by feigning shock of getting fucked right up the ass. Like we didn't already know our gender role in the SEC. 

I know it's a lot of money that makes a move nearly impossible (extremely improbable) but on the other hand I wouldn't mind it so much. From a competitive stand point we just aren't on a level playing field and some of that is the culture, coaching, and overall direction of the program....and a lot of it has to do with being the red headed step child for the last 30 years. We would fit much better against Kansas, State, OK Lite, TCU,  Baylor, Tech, Boise, BYU. crowd and it would kinda probably make some sense tv wise for them to favor moving us over that way as Arkansas' tv draw is pretty decent for a small state or at least it was before most everyone stopped given a shit. Just imagine if we could at least tell ourselves that we're winners by playing a non-NFL lite schedule each week.   

I could totally see the SEC saying...BYE hoe and then plucking a Clemson, FSU, or whatever in to replace us when ever there is a new TV deal which will be when programs plan their next big move.

we suck because haven't hired a decent football coach in over a decade. basketball, softball. track, and baseball are doing just fine.
