I love how Arkansas has been fucked on scheduling for forever and the very people on this board, including myself, have bitched about it while also bitching about how HY never says or does anything about it. 

Then, he actually does do something and those very same people say the scheduling isn't a big deal and instead attack HY. 

I am glad he is making it public.  Fuck the SEC and ESPN. 

Except this particular instance is nothing to bitch about. There's nothing wrong with those times when it's a week apart. HY is a horrible AD.

We have been in the SEC for 30+ years and have never won the SEC Championship game. Less than 10% of the time we get there. We have had what, 10 coaches? And been competitive with "the big boys" for about 2 consecutive years out of those 30+. We have now fallen below even the Miss schools, USC-E, Kentucky, and VANDERBILT.

You can theorize and have stars in your eyes about "a real coach" all you want but the facts are now in, and facts are stubborn things.

The really late start playing out west and then having to turn around and fly back to get ready for the next fudge packing at 11 am makes it all seem like a "quick turn around". In terms of "hours matter" he's right. You basically lose a prep day because at best you are landing back in NWA at day light, sleeping and then maybe doing a late afternoon film study/walk thru. 

Also and oh by the way as far as I know the SEC didn't force Arkansas to play Utah. The AD made that choice. It's not unusual for teams traveling west to play late games because it's not really that late out west...that's also how we accept that time works. Then the next week (Saturday) we play at an accepted time frame within our conference (11am) for our loser time slot because they treat us like we're everyone's "Tulsa" instead of giving us a prime time slot (where we'll be Shaud Williams'd) and that's the real bitch here. 

Oh and this is mostly boomer level thinking and shades of why we really need new leadership. The kids probably don't even get phased by it and certainly didn't need a public acknowledgement of mostly no confidence that we're gonna show up ready to fuck with a "can do" attitude. Loser mentality is coming right from the top.

You started off by talking about championships and how often we get there. If that doesn't count, then don't bring it up.

It counts for not being competitive in the SEC, but not for the fact that we've now fallen below those other schools. You're mixing and matching points, maybe you just don't understand.
