Bizarre situation in the Bronx.

Both starting pitchers are rookies. The Red Sox guy has started a total of 4 games. He was in AA in July. The Yankee was at that level in June.

I was looking at the matchups and was wondering if there was an injury issue here or what? How do the 3rd starters have so little experience?
