Ever since Julio grabbed that pitchfork and held it high for the crowd in his curtain call after hitting that 2-run homer, Seattle has gone into the tank. 12-2 Blue Jays in the bottom of the 6th.
I really don't care, Margaret.

A little un-American, but I'm pulling for the jays, for lack of better options. Might be the most ho-hum divisional series matchup ever. I'm sure the Dodgers will win it.

Watching Ohtahni pitch and strike guys out is amazing. He's the best HITTER in the game.

Have never seen anyone like him. Obviously the Babe is the best historical comparison.

And he literally hits it OUT OF DODGER STADIUM on his next at bat.

Jesus Christ.

Thin Red Swine

This is the first time I've ever seen him pitch.

Good lord at the movement and change of speeds.

Babe couldn't have been this good.

Quote from: Thin Red Swine on Oct 17, 2025, 09:46 PMHoly shit he's not human.

3 HRs.

6 innings of shutout ball and he will get the win.

No he is not.

Thin Red Swine

I'm no baseball almanac but it must be a short list of players to throw 100 pitches and hit three home runs in a game.

Show-Me Hog

I just saw the highlights package.

P: 9 Ks, 0 runs, gets the W.

H: 3 HR, one of them out of the stadium.

All in a victory to send the Dodgers to the World Series.

That might be the greatest individual one-game performance in MLB history.

Jesus Christ.
That was an absolute bomb.
Watching him is like watching the big kid on your little league team pitch and hit dingers all the time.
It feels almost blasphemous to compare him to the Babe, but dang.
I can't so much as drink a damn glass of water around a midget or a piece of antique furniture.

"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

BASS

Quote from: buff2.0 on Oct 18, 2025, 08:27 AMNo comparison. He's better.

Yeah. Pitching had evolved enormously over the last 100 years.

The worst pitcher in the league right now would have been league MVP 100 years ago.
Fuck your feelings
Ain't found a way to kill me yet
I have hawgtism

walter johnson was probably the hardest thrower during ruth's time and that was estimated to be around 95 on a good day on a few pitches per game.

the fact that otahni can hit 55 dingers and throw 100mph when he needs to is incredible.

Paul Skenes could have a baby with Big Dumper and it wouldn't grow up to play as good as Ohtani is.

While making it all look effortless.

That actually was probably the first time I've sat and watched him play in a real game. I've seen only highlights and All-Star games.

No, but not surprised an MLB scooped him up.

Imagine how great Ohtani would be if he subsisted on hot dogs and beer with a dash of syphilis.
Splash 11! drop ABE track, too confusing

Wow what a turnaround in Toronto tonight.

Mr. October did it again.
