That was Bagwell.  I'm watching the documentary instead of being productive.  "You can't go fishing without bait." is an awesome quote from Greg.  In a world where everyone wants more velocity and more spin, I wish there was more of his mentality and focus on changing speed.

Weiss has pleasantly surprised me so far.  Three of Snitker's biggest flaws - bullpen management, never resting starters, and complete lack of give a shit over the last couple of years - seem to be in a much better place under Walt.  I generally don't like promoting from within after a bad year gets the other guy "retired", but so far so good.

I just read an article today that Ohtani is now one of just two players all time in what the authored christened as the 50-50-50 club, with homers, stolen bases and an on-base game streak.

Bonds was the other.

Ohtani also has thrown 9,100 more pitches than Bonds ever did.

I take it all back the MLB.TV subscription is the greatest thing ever.  Kind of a pain to sign up for since I had to go through ESPN but, still... I don't care about the Angels or the White Sox but it's cool having games on in the office while I try to be somewhat productive.

Totally missed this until now. I was wondering what happened to him. Seems like last year showed his ceiling? Or did he have some other injury issues maybe?

I just saw something I don't remember ever seeing before at a skilled level of baseball. 2 Reds scored on one sac fly vs. the Cubs.

Elly de la Cruz flies out to the wall in right with the bases loaded. Cubs RF Suzuki catches the ball and slams into the wall, falling to the ground but immediately giving the ball up to the CF.

Of course man from 3rd tags and scores. But the runner at 2nd also tags, rounds third and heads on home. Beats the throw by a second or two.

I don't remember seeing that anyway. I assume he gets 2 RBI?
