I wonder what a chart of ticket prices compared to inflation over say the last 20 years would look like.  One of you smart guys figure that out. 

We do have to remember every damn thing costs a lot more now than only a few years ago.

Do you have season tickets for basketball? You can get a season ticket package this season for the same price as what they are going to be selling a single game ticket for after these renovations. I can't justify doing that because they are going to, what? Have more food options to choose from?

No, I live 4 1/2 hours from Fayetteville.  Not really practical to have basketball tickets.

My seats aren't in my donation level for any sports. Football it's by choice. I'm lower level in the corner at BWA which isn't a bad seat but I have to think my options improve if they reopen selwction. Hell, baseball I can't even get a seat which is frustrating. I'm too damn old to hang out with Rick B and the animals in the Hog Pen.

No you're right it's terrible and so are the football games. The band has been phased out almost totally and Jon Williams is the absolute worst.

I would be ok with more from the band if they showed an ounce of creativity. We've played the same shit for 20 years.

Couple that with our DJ playing dumbass shit like cotton eye joe and it's insufferable. And yes, Jon Williams is a clown.

I went for the first time in a while this year. The environment was just annoying background noise you have to yell over to talk to your friends during a break in the action.

It can't be said enough...this is asking to turn this into an NBA type of scenario.......and no not the Sacramento Kings type atmosphere....I am assuming the idea is to make this a corporate social thing, and therefore, guarantee more money up front etc....

I hate it.....I LOVE COLLEGE Football and Basketball....I think it is ten times more enjoyable than professional sports....but I do not like the way the game is headed;  that being said, I am all for the kids getting a piece of the pie

Arena definitely badly needs a makeover and the money to pay for it has to come from somewhere.

Then again, I went to a TCU game for $10 and parking next to the arena is free and they have a better team than we do.

My kid is seriously considering going to Texas.  I'm okay with it as that it is a good school.  And dang it, maybe it's for the best.  If she goes there, it will break this cycle of heartache that is being an Arkansas fan and my grandkids will know something different.

I'm tired of seeing a list of decisions Razorback Athletics could make and having them consistently choose the worst possible one over and over and over.  I can't ever stop being a fan, but maybe it will die with me.

it's almost like they are trying to find shit to spend the tv money so they don't have to share it with the student-athletes (which they should - that should be the money the kids get instead of asking the fans to pay for the program's expenses AND the collective to pay the kids).

I don't know why we have a PA system at BWA - you can't understand anything anyone yells into a microphone there.
Also why are we paying a DJ to "mix" 80s white pop and country songs? Let the band play but "Hey Jude" and "Freebird" have to go from the playlist last week.

Why do they not get that if one wanted an NBA experience that Memphis and OKC are an easy drive away.

Amazing how Kansas still plays in Allen Fieldhouse and that seems to be working out ok without suites and the like.

They have killed the atmosphere at Baum-Walker and so I guess BWA is next on the list. I guess that's what happens when the decision makers are pulling in 250K a year and don't have to pay fan expenses.
