Get out of my head. I was just thinking alongside those same lines this morning. I would think there could be room for two developmental type guys on the bench each year to help ease the transition 2-3 years down the road. Especially if only 9 are going to see any meaningful playing time. I mean I guess fear of injuries might push you to stack the bench with a couple dependable, veteran transfers, but that would still leave room for guys like Ford and Dunning.

Side note, I think I would rather have kept Ford than Pinion. I know that's tantamount to blasphemy, but I liked Ford's mentality (seems to have that dog in him) and work ethic. Pinion might prove to be an all world scorer at some point, but last year he just proved he knew how to stand in a corner real still like and be a liability on defense.

I'm sad to see Ford go but I'd rather keep an elite shooter like Pinion over keeping another athletic wing like Ford.

Oh Ford is salt of the earth dude for sure. I'm sure Muss was like, hey man, we need you to probably think about hitting the portal and going somewhere where you can play immediately.

Jesus did you even watch him play? He's way more athletic than you are letting on. Slow for his position, can't shoot...sure but he's far from non-athletic.

For what it's worth, the scout I was sitting next to at the Violation in Vegas was raving about him. Said he is the type of guy you put on your team to elevate everyone around him. Loved his size, motor, and court vision (despite the to's). Then he went on to grab 5 steals. Guys paid a lot to make sure their teams win seem to think the kid is a can't miss talent right now and is nowhere near his ceiling.

He was an elite WR as well.  Incredibly athletic.
