Kudos to Tom Murphy for asking the question, but he could've easily said 'I'd rather not talk about Twitter let's just focus on football.'

And if he acknowledges he's obese, why doesn't he do something about it? Could easily have lap band surgery or just go hardcore into a diet. They've got the people up there to where he could probably lose 30-40 pounds pretty quickly with minimal effort.

Are Arkansas fans on social media a bunch of fucking dumbasses?  Yes.  Could that be said about every other fanbase?  Yes.  Sam and the "kids" aren't dealing with any unique problems that every other college coach and player also sees every day.  If the players are spending so much time on social media that they can get down in the dumps at negativity*, then maybe everyone from the head coach on down needs to toughen the hell up and get to work.

My issue with that is, I can't recall any "lucky" plays that made the game closer than it should have been. The only one that comes close is KJ scramble where he should have been sacked a bunch that led to a big Luke Hasz reception.

I dunno. I think his model is a good starting point but it's not the end-all be-all, simply because the college game in particular is played by a bunch of overgrown unpredictable children (paid or not).

I'm all for making as much money for yourself as the market will bear, but don't hold yourself out to be something different or uniquely loyal in the process.

I don't get on twitter and rag the coach about his weight but I do worry about his health.  ig people are like big dogs - they don't live as long.  He is about my age so it is time to start thinking about how long he is going to live if he is about 320 like he looks.  He is way wider than I was at 300.
