Not for me. I thought he should've been fired last year, and CERTAINLY didn't think that winning 3 conference games this year would get him even another year.

I got told by someone who worked with someone who claims to Mrs. Pittman's best friend that he had been told that he was coaching for his job at the Tennessee game.  I posted it at the time but like I said then, I had no way of knowing if that was true.

That said, we sure did look better prepared and more focused that game than just about any other game all year.  And Sam sure did seem happy to win it.  It kind of makes sense too.  If he had lost that game, there was almost no way we could have made a bowl.  And winning it, almost no way we could miss one.  So in that regard, the whole season did come down to that game.
