I wouldn't worry about Sanders coming to Arkansas.

Deion will either exit coaching when his kids are done (PrimeTime Agency to manage their careers) and return to broadcasting or seek a bigtime SEC gig.  If it weren't for the buyouts on Kelly, Napier, or others he'd be in the catbird seat.

Hogs won't be able to afford him or attract him.

I just couldn't stand to listen to him all the time. He's pretty dumb.

I can't imagine Sanders leaving Colorado for a job in the SEC where he will get pwd repeatedly. It was bad enough starting out at Cu

He's in a relatively good situation. Basically the SMU argument again, much easier path to the playoffs at Cu than at a SEC PROGRAM hiring because the last guy couldn't cut it.

To me if Florida or Auburn open those could be interesting enough to lure him in. If he's serious about staying in coaching I figure cornrows won't make it beyond next season. They'll have to Jimbo his ass.

I had bought into Cornrows before this year but you could make a case that they make dumber decisions than we do.
Splash 11! drop ABE track, too confusing

See, it isn't so easy to pick a coach.

I'd still take him.

I think Deion is gone if any decent job is offered to him this go round. He is in trouble at Colorado after Shedeur and Travis are gone. Currently sitting at 79th in the recruiting rankings. The novelty has worn off.
Pants ironed and back for more

i think he only took the job to get exposure for his kids and hunter and show that at least two of them could play at p4 level. he wasn't going to get it at jax st.

i highly doubt he'll stay in boulder after this season, but i'm not sure there's going to be an sec opening for him and there's only room for one big ego in dallas. be mildly interesting where he lands.

Sanders ain't gonna coach for Jerry or be saddled with four years of Dak.  Shit maybe Jerry will steal Sam.  Nope.

He already has one fat guy who can't coach.  I doubt he wants another.

The choice between Norvell and Morris was easy.   We still chose poorly.

Anybody else remember that guy who was in Bo's show a week or two before we hired Morris?  He had some sort of system for rating coaches.  He was high on various coaches including Norvell.  Bo asked him about Morris and the guy said Morris was flat out awful by his metrics, one of the worst coaches he'd rated, and would be a disaster.  I knew we were in trouble when Bo got a little huffy after that and started sputtering a bit trying to defend Morris.

Cornrows appears to went to shit when Kenny Dillingham moved to Arizona State who incidentally is having a good season.

I think that's always a challenge with dudes coming from smaller programs either caught bringing staff that isn't ready for the prime time or otherwise maybe they show out and ultimately you begin to see where it was they that made the difference and not the head coach.

not to mention he whiffed badly in the portal despite all the preseason hype about those guys.

Wonder what ol merc is up to these days. He loved him some hammer down action on a Highland Park Friday night.

I'm ok with that. I haven't seen any rules stating an NFL owner cannot participate in college NIL but it would make some sense I suppose.

The Jones family can donate in other ways directly to the RF as they have in the past and possibly still do.

Beyond that I'd say this read more like a shot across the bow by the Jones family who's influence may be withering away as time moves on. NWA after all is loaded with HTLs these days...

Frankly I'd say the owners have colluded to stay away from NIL as it fucks up their position by escalating their costs.  It was easier to pay rookies when they're used to getting some poon, easy B's, and maybe a Camaro.
