It's fake news from NY Post apparently. All is well. I just can't picture Brady doing well in the booth. He'll make Witten sound like he's got a personality.

If he's not expected to do it till fall 2024 then I doubt there's even been any real testing. I've seen in some cases announcer crews doing mock games. The XFL/USFL would be a good place to do some of those.

He has at least as much personality as Aikman or Collinsworth. As much as it pains me to say, I actually think he will do fairly well. The only issue I see is he will potentially come across too smug.

He has at least as much personality as Aikman or Collinsworth. As much as it pains me to say, I actually think he will do fairly well. The only issue I see is he will potentially come across too smug.

By the time Tom does games he'll be well coached and well practiced.  It's amazing what coaching, rehearsals, exercises, and criticism can do to make incredible improvements.  Tom is very coachable.  He will do well. 

I worked for a company years ago that put all of us execs into a crash program in presentations and interviews. We had folks that would freeze in front of a mic that three months later you'd think was a fucking natural.

I know it is fashionable to pretend players from his era weren't as good as today's players, but Brown was probably the GOAT.

Big, ridiculously fast, playing behind a good line, he set rushing records that dwarfed all others when he retired. He quit at the top of his game to be an actor.

Brown was so dominant in the game, that lacrosse rules were changed requiring a lacrosse player to keep their stick in constant motion when carrying the ball (instead of holding it close to his body). There is currently no rule in lacrosse that requires a player to keep his stick in motion.

I've been watching a bit of Total Access (NFL Network) this afternoon. LaDanian Thompson comes off as a dumb motherfucker. His takes are basically the same on each player. I have no idea who the host is or the other guy that doesn't appear to be a former player but also doesn't appear bright enough to be media. I'm not sure what he does. His takes are also equally dumb.

It's actually $218m in guarantees, looks like the $133m is the up front payment for next year.  The contract could be worth $296m if it plays thru with all incentives. 

Too bad he's with the Chargers.  The Spanos family won't do what this team needs to win.  They've always been my favorite afl team going back to Lance Alworth, and later Billy Ray Smith Jr and Gary Anderson.

Supposedly the Commanders name may not stick due to new ownership thinking it's ass. So Washington Swamp Rats is still on the table. I figure the NFL league office will try to block any name changes for a while.

I think the league hates the name and want to deSnyder everything to do with the team.  I expect a new name in 24 with Commanders put on the dustbin with Staleys, Steam Rollers, Triangles and Gunners. 

Gunners would be a great name for a Memphis team.

I like Red Tails for an Alabama team but I'm not getting the feels for Washington.

Who owns that Red Tails name?  Part of the issue is Snyder didn't secure any other names.  Others bought just about everything. 

I think about all that's available is Trashfish, Peachpits, and Whipped Dogs.
