This may have been bullshit but someone on the internet (tots credibility) said that the Alabama coach is butt hurt that his boys aren't getting the NIL promised and he was looking to lift his skirt elsewhere.

I think this is the Maryland folk trying to make it sound like they had a real hot job. I doubt Oats is leaving for that when he could have had multiple other jobs by now that are highly more better gigs.

If I am Aggie, why not wait til Tuesday and throw a ton of money at Kelvin Sampson?
If he says no, hire his son who is the coach in waiting at Houston - would be cheaper.

I don't see Kelvin leaving Houston though as he has built that program from the ground up.

I do wonder if hunter ever reached out to him before hiring muss?

UH has the best class they've ever had coming in. Doubt they could get Kelvin. He's also pretty tight with Fertitta.
