The 2024 season tips off in mere moments down here in lovely Boca Raton, Florida at the Paradise Classic.

The ladies are slated for two games today, the first at 2 ET / 1CT against Marshall and then at 6 ET / 5 CT against the host FAU Owlettes.

After the opening doubleheader, they play one game tomorrow against Ohio U. (not THE), followed by two more on Saturday against Pedo State and Meatchicken State.

I am planning to get over there for probably both games on Saturday, and may be able to sneak out for part of the Friday game.


EDIT: If one is so inclined, the games are streaming on FloSports, for the low, low price of $29.99 per month. I didn't see a free trial period option, so I will not be watching.

Yeah, the app directs to that stat broadcast site. I'm guessing it's a function of the home team or host site needing to provide the scorekeeping. I'm not surprised FAU isn't that on top of things. 


And a correction to the initial post, the second game starts at 7 ET / 6 CT.

They bats are on fire again today, ahead 7-0 in the Top of the 3rd against Ohio.

It got a little sloppy with two errors allowing two unearned runs, but still enough damage early for a 7-3 win. Probably enough for Coach Deifel to give them a piece of her mind to clean up some things before the stiffer competition tomorrow.

We didn't do much after the 3rd. Like you said, it got a little sloppy, but it's a Razorback win. Haven't beena lot of those.
