Herron pitched out of a jam in the bottom of the 6th. We missed a good opportunity to add insurance in the top of the 7th. Then Herron sat them down in order in the bottom half to finish the game.

That's a very solid start to the season to win 4 out of 5 and then 3 out of 4 after long travels to opposite sides of the country and tight schedules for both events.

Actually, they're not finished this weekend. Game 5 is underway with a 2-0 lead over Omaha after 2.

They improve to 8-2 on the season with the home opener against Illinois State coming up on Thursday.

Bounced back with authority in the first one today, 7-0, thanks to a PERFECT GAME thrown by Robyn Herron.

Our ladies just put up a 13-spot in the bottom of the 4th and now lead WS 15-4 in the 5th.

Rubber match today and the ladies are getting poleaxed. MooSU just hit a grand slam to take an 11-2 lead in the top of the 4th.

EDIT: And their 4th homer of the game makes it 13-2.  They've scored 7 runs with two outs.
