In a lot of ways it feels like that anyway.

Bobby Petrino coming back to coach the Hogs again has me convinced this is all a simulation.  No way it's not a computer program and somebody in the ether feels sorry for us and changed the university rules with a keystroke.

We are definitely being fucked with.

simulation theory is proven correct by the Double Slit experiment likening it to when in a video game the far off stuff doesn't exist until you get closer and it must show more detail.

Show-Me Hog

Quote from: HOGSRUNWILD on Nov 29, 2023, 06:02 PMI know that some want Petrino as the HC, but as long as Sam gives him full control of the offense, in ALL PHASES, It might be better with Sam as the HC and Petrino as the OC.

Petrino hates doing many of the 'non-offense' things that are required of a HC.  Let Sam recruit, glad-hand and be 'nice'.  Let Petrino do all phases of the offense including all play calls and calls as far as going for it and punting and such.  Sam is horrible at those things.  Give total offensive control to Petrino and be he can do the administrative things a HC does and that are also very important to do right.  Let them each do their thing and it could be better than having Petrino as the HC.

And Petrino won't have to spend any time on the defense, or Willie Robinson us.

Dear God what I'd give to have actually slept through this debacle.

And if it does get worse, well I figure the impending stroke will take care of me for the next 12.

The one thing about Pittman is he lets his coordinators run their system. Yes, he wants to run the ball. If BP completely runs the offense, Sam will be more than happy with the run game, and fans will be happy witb the whole off3nse.

Has Mr Rick B commented on these developments?  Is he the donor matching the first mil on Arkansas edge?

This is my hope.  Not sure it will happen... but I hope it will.

They're (many of them) just now figuring out that Bobby was still stuck with Jimbo's offense for the majority of the season.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

Yeah our running game was as fun to watch as our passing attack. Knile Davis was my favorite player on that 2010 team.

And when did we ever see THAT version of The Petrion?

The Whyte Boar

That body language was pretty telling.  If you just saw those guys and didn't know any better, which one would you say was the head man and which one was the assistant?

2011.  He didn't even buy a new hoodie, just drug one out from the closet.

It's gotta dig in extra deep like that Hootie was never asked to "come back".

In addition to bringing an improved offensive scheme, Sam now has another experienced head coach to consult.  I don't think you can overlook the impact of Odom's absence on the sidelines this year in the organization and decision making.

This may be the perfect OC hire given the current state of the program.

It is a good move. I see no downside. Ignore those who say that Petrino must be shunned for all time. It's cruelty to punish him for life.

Petrino served his punishment. Time to move on from that old issue IMHO.
Woopig member since 2002. While Active Duty Army, wife and I lived in an apartment in Little Rock for three years, 2001 - 2004. Really enjoyed our time there.

If anybody remembers Bill Pusch (RIP), let me know. We were buddies at Camp Robinson. I'll never forget him. Great Soldier.
