I will say this, after much weeping and gnashing of teeth last night, this morning I went back and looked at our records to start SEC play, generally the first 4-5 games, since it went to a 18-game schedule in 2012-13.

Only two teams started better than 2-2 or 1-3 in league play (2015-16 and 2019-20) and neither of those made the NCAAT. Obviously there was no tourney to make in '20.

That being said, Mike and Muss teams rallied from horrendous starts (like 1-4 and 1-5 multiple times) to make the NCAAT or even having winning league records.

I won't throw in the towel yet. I don't expect to beat Florida on Saturday, but if they can figure out how to win at LSU or Missouri, I think they could beat Georgia and Oklahoma back-to-back and they could be 3-4 at worst going into February.

Don't expect to win at UK. Texas on road will be winnable. Bama will probably break one off in us. We will beat LSU at home. At A&M is a tossup (depends on what Aggies team shows up) and then no chance at Aubie.

If we are, say, 5-8 going into that closing stretch of Mizzou, Texas, at S. Carolina, at Vandy and Mississippi State, I think we could win out before MSU at home. 9-9 would safely get us in dance.

We'll destroy Florida and then drop a few more we should have won.

Fundamentals of defense and offense are a lost art.  I don't think coaches who have been coaching for 15 years or less know how to teach help side defense.

Bobby Knight coached people heppin'?  hmmm
Splash 11! drop ABE track, too confusing

I fear that the apathy part is ingrained in our culture now. I'm thinking I'm going to join them and just not give a shit about college sports.

Thiero = awesome, need more like him
Brazile = good, hustles his butt off which I appreciate
Wagner = Okay, plays above his talent level at times
Everyone else = not good
Coach Cal = should have hired the current Kentucky coach

And that folks, is your 15 games into the season review.

What is "hte"?

BleedinRed

spelling error.  Can either be "the" or "he".  You get to decide.

If anyone had told me that the women's basketball team would have more SEC victories than the men's basketball team after 3 games...I'd have said get the fuck outta here.

Bobby Knight sums up our season at the 0:40 mark. This should be played on the big board after every loss.

Arkansas has killed John Calipari...I have an odd sense of satisfaction about that.

"I just feel like the game has passed John Calipari and his staff by. And they do not make adjustments. And they don't know what they're doing. And I'm not sure he really cares."

Yeah that sums it up. Pray that Cal retires after this season.

If he were to retire we'd just have to count on Yurachek to make another hire.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

I think seeing Tyson tell Yurachek to hire Calipari and former players telling him to hire BLS, Yurachek is not really making the hires.

So he's inept AND spineless.
