I think Muss kind of fell in love with the smell of his own farts. By that I mean there was a bit of huberious in how he was supposedly building like Billy Beane type analysis. This guy is a high foul shooter, that guy draws a lot of charges and this guy rebounds like an animal on the offensive end but plays like Tiffany on defense...that kind of thing.

I wish Muss nothing but the best. 

I never really believed in him but he gave us some banners to hang from March.  Which we hadn't had in 30 years. 

I'll pull for him at USC if I ever run into a game on the tube. 

Now, if we'd hired Mark Pope I'd probably hate his ass like Kentucky does Calipari.

the comments about muss and 'pro style' offense are interesting because cal was criticized by kentucky fans (long before he came to arkansas), because he tailored his game in order to maximize his player's exposure to the nba style to help get them drafted.

maybe he'll change his approach, but neither he or muss are alone in playing a next level style offense.

I do wish Cal would've brought the guy who coached their offense last season. Think he went back to the west coast somewhere. Can't remember his name but they were really good offensively last year.

I can't imagine being so young that the Nolan in that video is all I can picture.  

He used to be a huge imposing statue of a man.  He was the perfect image of Arkansas.  Chip on the shoulder, counted out, but in reality was a winner.  

It makes me smile seeing him in the gym with the Hogs.

Heaven does not await anyone who has fought against building that man a statue. I seem to remember some pushback against putting his name on other court without doing something equal for Sutton... start by tossing all of those people into a deep river.

Nolan should have a statue.  And the court.  And his teams videos playing all the time.  40 minutes of hell is right out of the same book JFB used.  Nolan used it at utep, JFB at Arkansas.  Conditioning, speed, brains, crazy defense.
