That's awesome! What a once in a lifetime experience that was.  I imagine it was surreal to be there, and see Coach Richardson and Coach Cal there together.

We ended up winning the championship! Got to cut down the nets at BWA.

We were down 15 at the half in the semifinal and fought back and won in OT against Cardale Jones's team. I had a stretch in the 2nd half of the final where I hit a 3 on three straight possessions to take us from down 4 to up 5. We were able to keep the lead and close it out. Had a blast!

Yes. Train, hotel, shows and other fun booked. Waiting on tickets to the game to go on sale. We're arriving the 9th and leaving the 15th.

I'm thinking about arranging a "work trip" that week, that way travel and lodging will be covered. Our corp office is in lower Manhattan, but I can get to the office easily from anywhere if I stay around midtown. Hog bball and some Korean food around the block from the Garden before the game sounds fantastic.

It will definitely be nice to have the hotel paid for. Prices in NY in December are double the normal high prices.

I have stayed here a lot over the years with my daughter at Columbia. It is nice, clean, and about a block from the subway. The Beacon Theater next door has had a few good acts over the years. I saw Tedeschi Trucks' band there a few years ago.  (looks like they are playing again there for two shows Sep 24-25).

It's not too expensive. Most rooms have a kitchenette, and there is a supermarket across the street if you want snacks or to eat in. Several good restaurants are within walking distance.  The Beacon bar is nothing fancy but solid.  A liquor store is less than a block away. 
I like the Upper West Side.

Great suggestion. That's a very handy location! Sounds like it's close to Museum of Natural History, too.

The reviews looked good and it is VERY close to MSG and the train. We know the rooms are going to be small. We just want something that is clean and we don't have to fight through a homeless encampment to get into the lobby. I'm hoping that is what we got.

Muss is good at promoting himself. It worked while he was here and while he was passionate about it, but they were always more about their personal brand than the Arkansas brand.
