Should have left Coach V alone.

Lots of politics at Nashville.  That job is toxic until a few parent's kids graduate.

Bad admin, parents interfere, admin dictates who plays, locker room problems. Current coach was not given a chance.
Blame game all around.

Parents buying playing time?  Or trying to.

I have no idea and have no idea who was posting, so whether legit or not, who knows. I have no attachment to Nashville. I just ran into the posts while checking out the playoff info.
Frankly, the IQ level on that site seems to be lower than Hogville.

PA is leading Fayetteville 25-24 at the end of the 3rd.
Good game.
The winner gets fed to Bryant next week.
Oak Grove in the house.

Fayetteville and PA tied at 32. Going to OT

Fayetteville got a VERY sketchy 2-point conversion to tie it up with 25 seconds left.
Looked like the runner's knee was down, the ball was fumbled into the endzone, OA recovered but refs ruled he broke the plane.
Oak Grove in the house.

Elkins wins a fairly competitive game against Mena 35-16.

Southlake wins a nailbiter 69-62 or something like that over Frienship.  Was either tied or within one score almost the whole gam with Southlake scoring to win near the end.

HOGSRUNWILD

Elkins and Southlake both barely win their games to move on.

Elkins in in the semifinals after beating Malvern 45-31 and will face Mills while Arkadelphia/Southside face off on the other side of the braket.

Southlake beat Hebron 42-37 to move onto the final 8 of 6A Division II and will face Guyer. if they happen to win that, they would face the winner of the DeSoto/Longview battle and thus their season would for sure be over.

I still haven't figured out the whole Division I/II thing as it seems there is a state champ from both and they run parallel?  I guess with so many teams it makes sense but would seem you would have the two winners play for the actual state championship?

It's based on enrollment, but it doesn't make sense to me because you can have teams in the same district playing in the different divisions. Also, there are schools (hello Highland Park) that ensure that they get in certain Classes/Divisions by manipulating their enrollment. I'm sure they are not the only school that does it.
I need help and I know it.

Bryant beat the shit out of PA.

dhog

Elkins' game wasn't as close as the score might seem (2 scores). It was their last home game and now must go to Mills for their semi-final game. Still playing well but lost a few starters and looked banged up Friday night. Defensive backfield was vulnerable and may get taken advantage of at Mills. Btw, Mills has a freshman at QB that's suppose to be phenomenal.

That and the fact they scrimmage every year meaning Bryant has seen all the formations and such, I think gives Bryant an advantage too.

But I think it's mainly the mens.

Putting PA in 7A was extreme overreach and overreaction to their success. It is wonder Cobb was able to make it the whole season.

FWIW - I am not a PA guy.
