After about the 10th non-holding call, Pittman should have been raising hell. The reversing of the targeting call should have put him over the edge. Instead, he just stood there chewing his gum. Kirby and Saban would have been throwing headsets.

Everyone's halftime defensive adjustment seems to just include running through the OLine to pressure the QB, while the first half is all about containment.  Aggy is the only one I'm thinking of that just pinned their ears back from the first snap and went after Green.

Too bad we don't have an OLine guru or anything leading the team.

Even if Broyles was right, that we're 8 10th in potential, you cannot let that mindset permeate throughout the program and department. Then it becomes self fulfilling, or as we've seen, self defeating and that potential drops even further.

Mississippi State shit-canned Arnett 10 games into year one when he was sitting at 4-6 and that wasn't good enough.

They fired Joe Moorhead after he went 8-5 and 6-7.

Meanwhile, we're talking about 6-6 or even 5-7 being good enough to save Pittman's job after 3 consecutive bad years.

We need to face facts that State is a better program than we are now. Better recent history, higher expectations, better recruiting footprint, and better recent coaching hires (Mullen > Bert, Moorhead > Chad, Leach > Pittman).
