what weather app do yous guys use? I've been using Open Weather but lately it's like their forecast is the opposite of what actually happens.

Friday when it came a monsoon it "wasn't raining at all"...then later it cleared up and it said it was raining...then after that it was for sure going to clear up and it came another steady downpour. Ended up ruining some testing equipment on a job site over the deal.

Yesterday I was figuring on getting on a rooftop to service a unit...app said it's gonna rain by 2 pm and stay raining. So I get their around 11 ish...immediately it begins to rain. So I nope out on that shit. By the time I got back to town the sky was clear, sun out and all was well in the world. So I ended up opting to go back over to the rooftop unit around 3:30 ish...got everything set up and whammy the fucking sky went from sunshine to now we're back to stormy weather. I had to fix an ac unit in the rain and then scuba dive off the roof top down a slippery ladder and it's all because of Open Weather.

I use MyRadar. A little lag in it but the radar seems very accurate to me. You can see the time stamp on it but it's almost always 10 -15 min behind.  Got the local weather station app to send push alerts for lightening and other severe alerts in case I'm not paying attention and something pops up. My radar tries to gauge times of precipitation but it's usually not very accurate for specific locations.

Radar Omega is fantastic for the weatherman radar type of app.  They have local radars and do an overall national radar that is really great.  The best one I've seen

On the previous board Cotte enlightened us to the method of taking a saline IV after a night of hard drinking. 

I haven't yet tried this myself, but have been on the brink of calling a friend or my sister to give me one of these.

I have a friend who is a nurse.  He said they did this when they graduated from nursing school.  They went out partying and just gave each other IVs so they could start drinking again.

my best friends were nurses and doctors in LR...we would go on canoe trips and they'd bring out an IV to recover after a day of drinking. Too many drinks out in LR...come over and hold my iv for me while I do this

I've availed myself of a couple of these I.V. bars when I've felt exceptionally compromised the morning after.  It really is incredible how much better you can feel after an IV cocktail of saline, B-12, acetaminophen and caffeine.   45 minutes to total rejuvenation.

On the news this morning they showed a map of Houston and where different locations stand from a percentage of rain recieved to date.  Most places are above 200%.  Crazy how much rain we have received so far this year. Even crazier that the city and surrounding areas have not flooded once.
