I believe social media's greatest gift has been its ability to expose the astounding number low IQ people that exist in this big old world. Not necessarily poorly educated or naive but rather "I think it would be cool to take a selfie with this grizzly and her cub" stupid.

While annoying to endure, I'm thankful that I live in a country where everyone is free to spew the most vacuous, inane, logic-free drivel imaginable without fear of being sterilized and placed in an asylum.

Social media reminds me daily to never underestimate the stupidity of my fellow man (and woman) and, for that, I am grateful.

A kid we know has gone every year her whole life and was a counselor there earlier in the summer.  She came home a few weeks ago to get ready for college and rush and all that and wasn't there this weekend.  But she of course, knew a whole bunch of people still there.
